Funny since I still see it at my WW's all the time! :wink1:

Perused the Wallyworld ammo aisle today and found quite a quantity of CCI .22 mag TMJ at $10.47, eleven bricks of Win 555's at $19.47(haven't seen them in ages, seems kinda high for Wallyworld, but ?) Still have Fed AM at $15.47, quite a quantity of Rem GB 100 packs. Almost no centerfire handgun ammo, average stocks of centerfire rifle. Just as an observation, it seems that they are getting different brands and calibers, but they almost never have more than 45 to 50 percent of their shelf space used. Maybe a trend, who knows.

I saw two bulk boxes of Federal for $19.95 each. They also had a fair amount of 9 mil and a ton of 40 S&W. They also have started stocking UMC bulk boxes of 9 and 40.

It's getting better. :smiley1:

Definitely getting better after my weekend trip to a couple of sporting goods stores!
Sports Authority and Big 5 Sporting Goods both had their shelves almost completely full!
I haven't seen shelves like that in well over a year! :clap2:

I about fainted today. I'd read on another forum of WW dropping their ammo limits in Colorado, so when I went today to my neighboring WW, they had dropped it there also! Shelves have been looking good for a few weeks now, and today was even better--for rimfire, that is. Close to 100 boxes of Fed 510B (50rds) at $1.77 each, 8 boxes or more of Fed 550 bulk at $18.97 each, 50 or more boxes of Win 333 at $11.97, 20 or so boxes of Win 555 at $19.97 each, 8 or 10 boxes of Rem Thunderbolt 325 rd bulk(can't remember that price), 30 or 40 boxes of Rem Thunderbolt 50 rd at $2.97, 40 or more CCI Mini Mag 100rd at $6.97, 10 or 20 CCI SV 100rd, can't remember the price. They also had a LOT of Winchester LR ammo in the 100rd plastic case, and maybe 60 boxes of Win SuperX grey box. Like I said earlier, I about fainted, my heart was fluttering! hahaha. They had limited 22mag, limited 17hmr. Handgun ammo was pretty much as has been usual, large quantities of Win white box 9mm and 40 cal only, and lots of .223 Fed and Rem . It was so hard to control the urge to get a buggy for ammo alone. I had to calm down, and just get a couple CCI Mini Mags. I may have to go back tomorrow to see if I was dreaming or not. Maybe this shortage crap is finally easing up. Midway and Natchez still don't have much in stock, so we'll see. Y'all take care now!

Thanks for the update! I've noticed a big change as well. There definitely is a lot more 9 mil, and .22 rimfire now. I'm hoping to see Remington Golden Bullets back.

.38 Special and .357 magnums are still hard to find there as well as the elusive 380acp round.

this same WW had Golden Bullets a couple months ago, only about 5 bulk boxes or so, which was the first time in over a year and a half since I'd seen them. Back around Jan and Feb, they were loaded to the gills with fed Auto Match bulk also, but no more. Almost like riding a wave, with different brands.

I've also noticed a lot more rimfire availability here in Colorado WW's. But they've also been a lot better with other centerfire stuff too it seems. I was just there last week, but I didn't notice if they had changed their limit policy?

Centerfire pistol ammo is limited to only 2 calibers, here at my local WW. 9 and 40. Centerfire rifle hasn't changed much, seems to be a good selection but few boxes of each, with the exception of .223 where there are really decent quantities of bulk boxes of Fed and Rem. 55gr. fmj
