I agree there. THe biggest problem is people buying at the inflated prices, but I honestly believe that some of the people don't even know that it's inflated.
For example: I went to a hunting/fishing store in Venice to buy a pack of bulk .22 and they were charging $36.00. When I gasped on the price, the guy looked at me and said, "They're all like that". And at the show they indeed were all like that! So when I came home and told my wife about the ammo prices at the show, she thought that maybe the high price was the new norm. That's when I told her about Bass and the lower prices there.
So part of it is the old "see something strange everyday and it will eventually become normal to you" adage. Personally, I can't wait for the buying bubble to "pop" and see the reaction these store owners have when they are stuck with high inventory and low sales!
