With spring slowly wafting in the air, planting season will soon be among us and with it comes our enemy, the crow.

So let out you anger before it starts with the new fun shoot. Crows!

Here's the link to the target. (Don't forget to set margins to zero before printing.)

http://www.targetz.com/targetzlib/20025.pdf

There are 14 birds on this page so we'll shoot 15 rounds.

Its one point for every bird shot + one free shot in the entire round for any that you might have missed.
If you hit all 14 and still have the extra round, you can aim at bird that you have hit already.
If you clear a line of birds, you get an extra point.

So to score it would be like this:

Line 1) all three shot = 3 points +1 Point
Line 2) 3 out of 4 shot = 3 points
Line 3) only 1 hit = 1 points
Line 4) All four hit = 4 points + 1 point
extra shot aimed at missed bird on line two, hitting bird 4 makes line 2 cleared. Rescore of line 2 = 4 points + 1 point
Sub total: 3+1, 4+1, 1, 4+1
Total 15 points

The ranges are the same at 10 and 15 yards (Except for matt who stomped us so bad he has to shoot iron sights at 100 yards! Just joking! LOL)

Score it the same

Alias/Name
Score
Type of Rough Rider/sights used
Ammo

Good luck and have fun!

Well I tried my hand at the tiny little birds with not much success? :?
My best score was 8 but I forgot to take a pic of the target or bring it home? :?
But it wont win so no biggy right? lol

My first attempt was from about 11 yards and I scored my 8 points.
My second attempt I moved the target in to about 8 yards and I scored worse with a 6???? lol

I should've tried again later since I noticed the sights were off after attempting to attach a red dot to it at home the week before? :?
Once I got the sights re-adjusted we were shooting at golf balls at about 40 yards and having too much fun with that for me to think about trying the bird target again? lol

Wow? For some reason I thought you smoked my score Matt???
The only reason I had the 8 was because I managed to get all the top row for a bonus point.
Guess I should've remembered to get a pic?? :?

Well I did mine at 25 yards and did wonderfull!

I got one point.

The one thing I really hate about outdoor ranges is waiting for the cold range call to grab the target and run over to the 10 yard spot, find an opening, then move all the gear over.

Indoor is much easier.

That's the nice part of my club. You get a berm all to yourself and do whatever you want whenever you want.

So long as you're being safe obviously.

True, but you gotta shovel all that snow out of the way first!
