Go here and scroll down to fig.18-20
Not sure but that is exactly what mine did when I took it down for the take down guide.
Quote:
The Trigger Spring(3.3) is under the Trigger(3.1). This will not do.
You MUST make sure the Trigger Spring(3.3) is positioned on top of the flat catch of the Trigger(3.1).fig.22
If it is not, the Hammer(4.4) will not ratchet and the trigger will have little to no resistance. VERY BAD!!!

The lost detent on the other hand ...
Maybe Heritage will drop one in the mail for you?
I really hate to see you send it in.
Feel free to PM me any questions you have.
I'll be glad to make a quick video of the process if you need it.

Very cool cabin! it looks from the pics that you have a good supply of nice streight trees also. are you saving the bark in long flats for roofing? just one other question, wont the weight of the log walls crush the cinder blocks? or do you fill them? DR

ill flip them on the on the side with holes sticking up and add one to the middle part of the logs. as for roof is going to be plywood with asphalt shingles my step dad wants roof to be wood shingles I think my idea is better because of the less maintaining.
