:hmmmm: Not sure how you feel about opening it up but take a look at my take down guide it may help you find the trouble.

If I had to guess, Id say look at the spring that resets the trigger and lifts the cylinder stop. its set screw may have come loose or the spring itself may have broken. thats what they act like when that spring is not right. old colts from the 1850s till the present still use that same spring and most of the CAS competitors carry an extra spring for just that reason. take out the five screws that hold the grip frame on and just ahead of the trigger you will find this spring. hopefully its just loose. DR.

Definitely take a look at ASC2's take down guide. And big plus 1 to DR's suggestion as well. It wont void the warranty just because you replace a spring. :wink1:

And I gotta admit this is the first I've geard of a Heritage breaking. Which in and of itself is a good thing IMO.
Not good for you obviously vt. :? But even if it's not the spring as DR said, I'm sure Heritage will take good care of you. And if you do wind up having to send it in, let us know how that goes. Since I've never heard of anyone needing to before, and I'd like to hear how they handle it.

Shouldnt! if it is a broken spring Heritage should send you a new spring quicker than shipping it back to them and returning it.

NICE!
Like I said before, I've never known anyone who's had to use the warranty and customer service of Heritage. That I can recall anyhow? :?
But it's good to know we have another quality customer service company in the USA! :wink1:
