Forum rules

As with any great game there are rules.

1: This is a Family Site that means:
__ a: No sexually explicit pictures or avaters.
__ b: No vulgar profanity. (Keep it PG)
__ c: No personal insults (Argue the point, not the person.)

2: Keep all political/religious debates civil. Different viewpoints are good. Hating someone for that different is bad.

3: No "smack-talk" of someone elses gun. Every gun is a Heirloom to it's owner.

4: No spamming or fly-by-night sales. This isn't free-advertising.com! Go sell your stuff somewhere else.

5: If you don't like guns or shooting hobbies, go somewhere else! There are other places to go that feel that way and would love you to join them. Let us enjoy our hobby!

6: Have fun! You're here to relax and enjoy yourself. Keep it light and don't get caught up in the gun-smoke!

Today I was let go from the workplace. Given today's economic environment, I am not sure when I will get a new one. (But you can be sure I'm gonna try like hell to get one soon!)

But I want EVERYONE to know that GunsligerForums will still be here for you. I may not be here as much, (I might have to cut internet and visit from the Library.) But I will be checking in.

This isn't me signing off yet. Just a heads up to let you know I'm not running away.

I'll be around and will keep you informed as things happen.

That's a real bummer. Hope you're back in the saddle soon.

Thanks guys.

The board has been out to get me for a while. They're also wreaking havock with all the other workers as well, Including the Park Manager.

What wasn't expected is the protesting going on by some of the residents in the park. There's even a petition for my reinstatement going around. I would've never expected that!

Wow! That sucks big guy. :?

I'm sorry to hear that. Times are tough to be sure, but all you can do is keep your head up and keep trudgin along.
And obviously you were doing a good job for a petition to get started on your behalf. :wink1:

What was it you did again?

Perhaps the powers that be will heed the petition. You must be valued by those you served. Good Luck and God bless.

i was laid off back in march and had to move from MN to ND to find a job. but i got one. they are out there. to be honest, getting laid off was a huge relief compared to the 6 months before hand just waiting to be axed with no work. it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. got to move me, the wife, and the dog to fargo, ND which is a way better community then minneapolis. a guy can actually afford to live here. we are happier than ever, and it all came from me losing my job. maybe you will be just as fortunate as we were and things will work out for the better. best of luck buddy.
