During the coldest months of the year, noting beats a day of Bowling!

Can you get a strike with ten shots at ten yards?

Each pin is one point.

Start at the bottom (first pin) and then go up a row shooting from left to right.

One shot per pin.

A strike gets you an extra 10 points.

If two or more "bowlers" get a strike. they print out another target and try again at 15 yards.

Have fun!

* Remember! No margins or shrinking to fit before printing the target.

Well I went to the range and I got one point! But I got it at 25 yards. I was hard to see the pins at that range. I was using the red stripes for my point of aim. Still I am happy with the one point.

So let me know how you do.

I took my 6.5" Heritage and shot at 15 yards. Hit 3 of the pins. I may try again at 10 yards as the directions I forgot to read said! I think the pins are on of the better targets we've had. I, too, shoot at the red bands. These old eyes don't see like the used to.

A pic would be best IMO. But not absolutely needed. We work on the honer system here. ;-)
And welcome to the sight.

A picture is a plus, but nobody's done it so far.

It is basically a honor system here. There's no money or award for the winner, just a good excuse to burn some powder.

The rules are simple:

You can shoot at either 10 or 15 yards since these are usually the choices given at a public range.
Nobody has a scoped Rough Rider yet, so we haven't had to worry about seperating classes for that.
Most use .22lr ammo but we did use magnum ammo for the deer hunt. Just to change it up a bit.

The way to list your score is similar to RFC's fun shoot.
Name
Score
Ammo
Heritage used

That's it.

Well Im not sure the rules. If we are scoring best edge, I scored a 9. If not I scored a 8.

Name: Matt
Score: 9 (maybe 8)
Ammo: Aguila SSS
Heritage used: Fixed sight 6.5 using 22lr cylinder.
Range: 12 yds ( thats where my marker is)

I find that its very very accurate aslong as you dint allow any buildup in the funnel area of the barrel. Just a small ammount hurts alot. I am going to reshoot it just for fun at 25 yds

Don't get me wrong.....I think they're very accurate little guns! But they're only as accurate as the human shooting it. ;-)

Were you standing or sitting or bench rest or prone or......?????

I was standing using a 2 hand grip. POA was the red band. The 60 grain SSS bullet seems incredibly stabel from this revolver (not so in my rifles). I assume with as much practice as I have. I should heve shot a 10 with a bonus.
