Forum rules

As with any great game there are rules.

1: This is a Family Site that means:
__ a: No sexually explicit pictures or avaters.
__ b: No vulgar profanity. (Keep it PG)
__ c: No personal insults (Argue the point, not the person.)

2: Keep all political/religious debates civil. Different viewpoints are good. Hating someone for that different is bad.

3: No "smack-talk" of someone elses gun. Every gun is a Heirloom to it's owner.

4: No spamming or fly-by-night sales. This isn't free-advertising.com! Go sell your stuff somewhere else.

5: If you don't like guns or shooting hobbies, go somewhere else! There are other places to go that feel that way and would love you to join them. Let us enjoy our hobby!

6: Have fun! You're here to relax and enjoy yourself. Keep it light and don't get caught up in the gun-smoke!

Well, it finally happened! Ercnan and I got together at a gun shop and range located 'bout halfway between us. Most of you have known and been forum buddies with Erc far, far longer than I have. This sort of makes me feel like a line-cutter or some such. We met, broused and looked and lusted a lot, then shot a little, then looked and lusted somemore. Erc is a great guy, interesting, and very humble when his considerable contributions to this forum and other favorites of ours are mentioned. :clap2:  Erc had cameras but we had much to shoot and little time so no pictures this time. Erc let me shoot his HP 9mm pistol, my first experience with a HP gun and it was cool. I let Erc shoot my lefty Savage mkll.22 lr bolt. We both brought shotguns, he his Pardner which he posted pics of here in the past and I had "old ugly" a shortened FIE-CBC 12ga single. Both would put a load of buckshot #4 and or 00b entirely in a 10-12" circle at 25yds. Which was a lot tighter than I expected. I was shooting unbuffered shot in 00b but buffered in #4b. Erc and I only live 60 or so miles apart so it's unlikely this will be the last meetup 'tween us. We saw the new style 995 carb. a really nice Heritage BB 45 Colt and other cool guns too numerous to mention. It was a really great day with a very cool and interesting guy! :clap2: :gunslinger:  He really doesn't seem to realize how grateful some of us are to him and all you who put blood ,sweat, toil and tears into making these forums work! :goodjob:
KB

PS When I asked about you other "old timers" on here
Erc verified what I already thought, how good a bunch this here is!

Sounds like a blast.
Any range time is good time but even more so when it is with a fellow gun lover.
Next time get us some pictures. ;)

   I missed this, and I'm late, but have to say kb is a great guy as well. Since this outing, we met again last weekend to get some rounds through the new GP and he brought his 4095 this time. First time for shooting the HP Carbine..................Sweet. Never a problem one , and accurate.
No pics again, sorry, as this range is paid by the hour. Before cold weather sets in foe good we are planning a trip to Sugar Ridge, which is further north, but free, so we got all the time we choose there.

Well, guess my notifications are hosed a 'lil as I'm not getting them (I'll look into that). I rely on them to direct me to which board I need to go to   and if I don't get them, I sometimes forget or get busy on another.

Yes kb we will. Hopefully sooner than later, and we'll have a 10 part You Tube to post after we get done. I got 4 hours of vid capability and a battery charger too. Hope you ain't skeered of the camera!!!! :funny: :funny: :funny:
