BTW, your gear looks very familiar. Lee all the way here too. I've had a Challenger single stage for 20+ years and have loaded several rds on it. Still going strong. The priming tool is worth it's weight in gold .
Again, congrats on the nice setup! :goodjob:

I have primed a total of 21 rounds and I already agree that the Auto Primer is the best thing ever.
The part I was dreading the most turned out to be the easiest part of the process. :clap2:

Not at all dude, I have added 11 to that and the process is easy.
Get the Auto Primer, you will not regret it.

Well I have a primer indexing port on my Lee Pro 1000. So hopefully that will do the trick just fine?

now that was a jinx! Ape, the primer feeder on the pro 1000 is its weakest link. I had to tap it with a pencil after every pull of the handle to keep the primers flowing down the track and look to see that one was ready before each pull of the handle. it doesnt take long, but its one more thing to build into your rhythm. the only one I have tryied that worked without any input from me was a Dillon. all I had to do was feed a bullit and pull the handle. but it cost 4 times as much. [ and I got mine at a garage sale]. I lost that dillon in a garage fire :cry1: . I load now on a Lee chalanger and a RCBS single stage. in spring Im going to try CAS again. [ neck and shoulder are much better] Im thinking a PRO 1000 is in my future. only thing Ill do differantly is resize and prime the cases ahead of time.

You guys man cave pics are making me want to clean out the garage :scared: . but you know what they say about a clean garage....
" a clean garage is the shure sign of a sick mind!"

I've actually heard that before about the weak link on the 1000. But I've been given a couple of good tips to prevent doing what you used to do. Which is why I said "hopefully" in my previous post. :scared:
I'll let ya know if those tips pan out. :wink1:

And I've been thinking about adding a single stage cheapy press to do either priming or resizing seperately. But I'm gonna hold off till I see how this one treats me in the long run. (fingers crossed)

By the way, my garage is a mess! Yet I keep getting told that my mind is a sick one?? :hmmmm:  :funny:

DR, my "man cave" as you put it is hanging on the wall in my living room.
If I were to pan that shot back a bit you could see my wife's yarn stash on the right side of my bench next to the shoe shelf.

:hmmmm: Seriously Ape, the 30 bucks for the Auto Primer will make life much easier for you down the road.

Sounds like you guys have been busy!
All this talk about reloading is giving me the jonses for trying it again. (Saving up to buy the reloader.) In fact, I'm going to put that higher on the list than a new gun.

Time to print out a picture and wrap it around a jar.
