Just thought I'd tell ya all how I "almost" came home with a sweet lookin case hardened finish .45 at 5.5" when I was buyin the Rossi lever action the other night. While I was waitin on my background check to come back I was lookin at all the other toys and came across the only BB Heritage they had. Felt as nice as I remembered it. Problem was it seemed a bit high priced to me? They had it NIB for 449.00 Is that close to what you guys see em go for in your neck of the woods? |

Was it case hardened, or case colored? Big difference. |

If IIRC the Heritage (Pietta's) are a case hardened "finish" and not a true case hardened metal? |

Usually less than $400 here. They are nice guns. |

So long as the finish doesn't wear off easily I wouldn't care. |
